Beta update

The undead have risen! War is at the gates! Hades has returned and is looking to spread chaos and destruction by sending his undead troops through his portal!
With the help of Lysander’s Spartan warriors, it is your task to be the field commander and free the island world from the gruesome creatures by ultimately closing Hades’ ominous portal!

Starting August 7th at 10:00am server time, you will be able to prove your skill as a commander of a mighty Spartan army.
Lead Lysander’s soldiers in the fight for victory and receive precious rewards, awards and honor points from the daily and overall ranking. Once you have proven to be among the most powerful warriors, you will have a new exclusive hero at your service.

Get ready to experience the event with some new rewards and changes; give it your best and aim to claim your place at the top, before the event ends on August 27th!

On Wednesday, April 5th, Grepolis will be updated to version 2.135. As always there will be a short downtime while the update is applied

• As requested by our Community, the notification about the start of the era of worlds wonders now appears instantly instead of popping up with the first new game session after the start.
• Artemis will finally become available on all game worlds, enabling us to include her in events, Grepolisscore and other game areas.
• Additionally we improved the deletion of reports when sorting them by category, started preparations for our annual Easter event and fixed some issues in the browser and mobile versions of the game.

As you may already know, the majority of Europe will be making the transition to Summer time this Sunday, including Germany where our servers are located.

Please be aware that this weekend on Sunday March 26th 2017, at 2am the clock will go forward to 3am. This means that there will only be 23 hours in the game, and that 2:30 AM will not occur. As usual, the game will not give any indication as to whether an attack will arrive in winter time or summer time.

On Wednesday, March 22nd, Grepolis will be updated to version 2.134. As always there will be a short downtime while the update is applied. 

• While Island Quest changes and performance improvements have been enabled for testing on beta, we focused on a few more new additions to the game.
• The commands overview has seen an overhaul. We intend to test these changes on beta starting next week. If the desired performance improvements kick in, changes will also become available on live worlds soon after.
• Furthermore we revived a function to enable alternate graphics in the game for special occasions and prepared everything for the activation of Artemis on all game worlds

On Wednesday, March 8th, Grepolis will be updated to version 2.133. As always there will be a short downtime while the update is applied. 

• For this version, our developers focused a lot on research and implementation of technical adjustments to improve performance of the game client. We will keep following up on this topic with more changes in the upcoming versions.
• Additionally we tested some of the previously announced island quest changes internally and reviewed them in terms of Game Design standards and technical implementation. 
  Beta testing of these changes is scheduled for the first week of March. Make sure to follow our beta forums if you are interested in the topic!
• Finally there is good news for those of you waiting to get your hands on Aristotle, Agamemnon and Christopholus. These 3 heroes become available outside their previous events and hero awards are sorted differently for a better overview.

Starting March 6th at 10:00am server time, you can participate in four challenging disciplines, each focusing on different strengths of your athletes. Train to become the very best and help your alliance score in each discipline's top ranks!

Participation in every competition earns you laurels, which can be exchanged for valuable items in the event shop. Looking for additional rewards? Grepolympia is about team spirit, so make sure your alliance’s most successful 10 athletes manage to score the best average result for a discipline to gain powerful bonuses for the whole alliance!
